agreed, BSJ is definitely gone imo. Lattimore, a new CB2, Sanristil, Chinn, Quan, and our current backup safeties, would be a very nice secondary. Wonder if they'll bring back Noah, I think he's solid depth.Warhead36 wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:27 amPair Lattimore with a stud outside CB and move Sarinstil to the slot. That could be a hell of a secondary, especially if we can bring Chinn back and Martin continues to develop.

Yeah that's my big issue with him. You get beat you get beat but the constant grabbiness and fighting and just general being an annoying ass is just aggravating and not fun to watch and is the antithesis of what we're building.JayP wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:30 pmLattimore is boom or bust. He's given up significant penalty yardage which has led to TD's. He gets spanked on a play and then melts down. Just like he did versus Mike Evans. He needs to learn to keep his composure, even after giving up a long play.
With that said, the talent and pedigree is there and I wanna see what he can do after healing for an off season and acclimating into our system. But I'd still be looking for another outside CB to pair with him and then move Sarinstil to the slot. You always need strong CB depth in today's NFL.

Lattimore should be cut - and see if he will resign for less. Should sign, Ward or Reed or Douglass in FA a long with a WR. Edge and DL deep in the draft. OL has many good 2nd and third round talent.

I don't see us cutting him. CB is already a hole as is. Cap space isn't an issue with Daniels on his rookie deal. Keep him and see if he can't return to some kinda previous form. CB play tends to be swingy on a year to year basis anyway.brandies wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:00 pmhttps://overthecap.com/player/marshon-lattimore/5595

I need him to be a team player. Fighting guys like AJ Brown and Mike Evans is conduct detrimental to the team. If he doesn’t figure out the culture we are trying to build and did build without his services, then he needs to go. I’ll give him the off-season to figure it out. The clock starts ticking game 1 next season.Darrell Green Fan wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:58 pmThe did not trade multiple picks to rent Lattimore for part of a season. He will not be gone, I don't see any scneario where they do that. Hopefully he comes back as the player is was in New Orleans.
