A big Caps fan I work with said unequivocally before the series that they would not get past Carolina.
Is the team (apart from Ovi) still relatively young? They should be in the mix for a while. But I can understand the historical frustration, especially with the high probability that, aside from ...

My two likely openers for us now are either home vs DET or away vs KC. Prime time.88Commanders00 wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 12:05 pmWe aren’t opening with a loser. The nfl will want a great matchup to open with.

St Louis Cardinals actually hosted the Thanksgiving game instead of the Cowboys for a couple years in the mid 1970s.

Id be pretty surprised if we dont play in Philly for the Thursday opener. Detroit is the only other option, but with JD5's star power.....

Re: What Features Do You Want in the New Stadium
Remember before one of the games in Landover's first year (the 7-7 Gus headbutt tie against NYG) hanging out at one of the endzone bars and someone having a few choice words about how far up his seats were compared to RFK.

Re: New Stadium News
Chart makes sense, as I thought I read that RFK demoliton slated for completion in late 26.
Sort of happy that its not the final design. Again, the rendering looks like a cross between SoFi and Allegiant, more like the former. Those top level seats look really high, and Id like to see a design ...

Re: New Stadium News
Picture shown at the presser is decent I suppose, although it looks like SoFi and Allegiant had a baby. The version shown in the late January renderings appeared more majestic:

Even though the new place wont be ready until likely at least 2030 ( thought I saw RFK's demoltion wont be complete until late 2026), I look forward to at least seeing some legit renderings relatively soon. That video of a "National Stadium" posted a few months ago looked really sweet.

Re: Life in Post Democracy Era: Trump 2/Elon
Ill give props to Trump for inviting Maher, but Bill's report of "the guy I had dinner with is not the same person we see every day" to me blows a hole in the narrative of Trump being this straight shooter. The public Trump is all an act?
