Good thing JD want a bust or we would have to hear about possible Aaron Rodger’s/Commanders connections….

We need to bring in some veterans in the defensive backfield, otherwise stick to the draft I think.

CB is well represented in FA. I am hoping to get a CB, WR, maybe an edge in FA. Draft is okay in OT where we will be picking-someone might drop a bit-Strong in DL and great with edge rushers. It should be a fun off season.

We have a lot of money, about $116 million if we cut Jon Allen. There are not a ton of guys worth huge contracts in FA. I think we basically just spend money where the best talent is available.

We desperately need weapons. I'm signing Higgins and trying to find a YAC guy that can play in the slot. Higgins across from Terry with a speedy slot would be a huge upgrade to the WR room.

We haven't been able to run the ball in the last 1/3 of the season. I didn't think I would be proposing spending money at guard, but I would sign Trey Smith. Smith, Cosmi, and Biadasz would be a great interior line, and if Coleman makes a second year jump, and we can somehow upgrade at the other tackle spot in the draft, we would be set.

I'd sign Charvarius Ward. Ward across from Lattimore, with Sainristil in the slot, would give us a very fast, physical, well regarded CB group. We'd still need a solid #4, since you can count on Lattimore missing some games.

And, I would resign Terry. He deserves to be rewarded and shouldn't be playing out the last year of his contract with no guarantees.

Maybe he will be released. Plus the trade is gonna be a buyers market since everyone know he wants out. I can see versions of a trade being worth it. I think he will work out like desean Jackson worked out if we sign him.

I can't see him getting released and getting nothing after the capital they gave up to get him as well as the guaranteed money paid out. I know he's an elite talent right now, but I'd want a younger receiver like waddle (or any draft pick) for Jayden to grow with for years. we have a good culture and chemistry right now, but it's still only in its infancy. it can all be undone by bringing in the wrong type of players at the wrong time time - chasing the illusion that we can win the super bowl next year. it's possible, sure, but not realistic. adam peters and quinn had a plan. stick to it, imo.

Are they any Barkley/Henry RBs becoming free agents this year?

It’s time to find that bellcow rb either in free agency or the draft.

BRob isn’t that. He’s a backup at best, to give occasional relief to the starter. Frankly, it won’t be surprising if he gets cut.
