I'm surprised this thread isn't full of mock drafts that posters made using https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft.

I didn't like how the board fell to me at 29. So, I moved back a few spots and picked up pick 89. Took a tackle. Maybe he's better than Coleman, and Coleman can kick inside? Maybe he can kick inside? Again, in the 2nd, didn't like my options, Henderson was BPA in a spot we needed. Then, we do need a CB, we need a WR. Both have some size in Burke and Higgins. Then finally an Edge, so I'm going to assume we also get one in FA. Then another OL with a depth guard. Another edge from Bama, and a CB who probably will play teams. Will try again later.

Cool. Just discovered this. Am on the road but will post more soon.

Running backs, tight ends in this draft are insane but i especially really really really dont want to wait until the mid third for a RB. I want one of the first tier guys Ill elaborate on who I think those are this week.

Dont get me wrong i love that 2nd tier but I think an elite RB is a game changer for this team.

love the edge class. Ditto DT. My instinct is to trade down if possible. Need 4 picks in the 2nd and 3rd.

Get an edge in the 2nd if so like Sawyer or Landon Jackson. A DE who can set the edge and deal with the Eagles monster O line.

As always though Id keep an open mind for BPA so for example if there is a surprise faller like Kelvin Banks, Loveland Id take him. If Josh Simmons’ medicals check out and he falls Id take him. Maybe Egbuka too I am still digesting him.

I cant help thinking in a totally different way from the past. That is, how to beat the Eagles. How to win a SB THIS season. Players that help that aim.

While i despise some of the local media’s notion of avoiding RB until the third round. But if I played along with it this would be my fav 2nd tier one in that range.

Of the ones Ive watched so far my favs in the 5th round range woukd be these 2. I talked about Harvey in the draft thread last year. But I really want Hampton or Kaleb or Henderson. I am not in favor of forcing a pick especially for RB but I also hate the idea of ruliing it out purely based on round.

With Jayden’s threat to run via RO/RPOs this teams run game shouldnt suck. If anything it should be special. We need O line upgrades clearly, too. But Brian Robinson is a JAG. Its amazing they can play ball control without a running game, imagine with one?

If later in the draft. 6th/7th. Woody Marks

My first post on this new forum (have the same user name as on ES). Nice to see GC and some others on this forum.

Right now, I figure (as most do) that the lines have to be addressed early in the draft. It wouldn't shock me to see us take RB with #29 (if RB2 is available) considering B-Rob has zero juice in his legs. C-Rod should have gotten his carries in the Philly game. He's a much more instinctual runner than B-Rob is.

For those trade down folks, here are some example trades in previous draft around #29:

2019:
Seattle traded #30 to NYG for #37+#132 (late 4th)+#142 (early 5th)
Rams traded #31+#203 (late 6th) to Atlanta for #45 (mid 2nd)+#79 (mid 3rd)

2022:

Tampa traded #27 for #33+#106 (an early 4th)+#180 (an early 6th) to Jacksonville.

2024:
Buffalo traded #28+#133 (late 4th)+#248 (late 7th) to KC for #32+#95 (late 3rd)+#221 (early 7th)
Buffalo traded #32+#200 (mid 6th) to Carolina for #33+#141 (early 5th).

I'd be down to take RB2 at 29 as well. I love Henderson. I like Hampton a lot too but he's more of a bruiser and I want some explosive home run hitting capability.

@skinsinparadise man, I been hoping you'd show up! Sure, I have a long list of peeps that sentiment includes, but you are a top ten pick in the first round. 😁🥳👍

Am still deciding and working on my RB rankings including wanting to see the combine first. But Ive seen enough of Hampton though to be satisfied with his burst. Well rounded, RB. Although to my raw eye Henderson and Sampson for example look to have more breakaway speed.
