I saw a rendering of a stadium in the DC neoclassical style and thought it was godawful.


I'm torn. I like both of these. The neo classical looks like it just belongs in DC while the other just bleeds Burgundy & Gold. Love how you can see the Monument through the endzone- reminds me of how you can see downtown Philly through the Linc's endzone. Also really dig the W design for the endzone seating. The sidelines look pretty steep though.

Remember before one of the games in Landover's first year (the 7-7 Gus headbutt tie against NYG) hanging out at one of the endzone bars and someone having a few choice words about how far up his seats were compared to RFK.

To me the view of the Capitol from the seating bowl is overrated. Have something similar to Landover with a club deck and upper level roughly two thirds of what was originally built in there. And do what Atlanta does with concession prices.

Agreed. Even if it’s cool to start, if the site is truly mixed use, then the end of Cap Hill nearest it will get built up and the view will get blocked. Just like what happened with Nats Park.
