When do we get worried about Terry?
Last extention he didn't sign until July 6th. They are talking, this isn't a "hold out" per say since he's still under contract. Not worried at all

Pretty sure the last contract was signed June 28th. The press conference may have been July 6th, but that wasn’t when he signed it.
Also, idiotic take of the day regarding Terry: “he wants more money than he’s worth. What are you talking about? He wants top-tier wide receiver money and he is only average at best”

can’t fix stupid

Even if Terry's average at best, which I disagree with, the NFL is known for overpaying. And the Commanders are no exception to this rule.
That's casual at this period of the season to have players trying their leverage into negotiations. That's just business as usual.
Either Commanders' brass believe they have better than Terry in store behind him that will be ready to go in a year or two, in which case they won't renegotiate, or they don't, in which case they'll give him what he wants or close to it.

AP and DQ want Terry, there is no ifs ans or buts about it. The hold up is he turns 30 in September, and the length of the contract. Money is not an issue.

I love that our FO isn't just acting purely out of emotion and immediately paying Terry. AP is doing exactly what a real GM does in evaluating everything and making the best possible deal while also taking a long term approach.
A deal will get done. Just gonna take some time.

I’m sure something will get done. Terry is a great teammate and professional. He’s been through so many QB’s it’s crazy. I have no idea how much and time length he wants or should receive, but the players always want as much as they can get ( I don’t say this is a bad thing). Someone posted before that there’s not much difference between 28-29 million, but $500,000 after taxes could set up a child for life if wisely invested.
