Last extention he didn't sign until July 6th. They are talking, this isn't a "hold out" per say since he's still under contract. Not worried at all

Pretty sure the last contract was signed June 28th. The press conference may have been July 6th, but that wasn’t when he signed it.Tress Is The Way wrote: Tue Jun 10, 2025 12:45 pmLast extention he didn't sign until July 6th. Also, idiotic take of the day regarding Terry: “he wants more money than he’s worth. What are you talking about? He wants top-tier wide receiver money and he is only average at best”
Even if Terry's average at best, which I disagree with, the NFL is known for overpaying. And the Commanders are no exception to this rule.
That's casual at this period of the season to have players trying their leverage into negotiations. That's just business as usual.
Either Commanders' brass believe they have better than Terry in store behind him that will be ready to go in a year or two, in which case they won't renegotiate, or they don't, in which case they'll give him what he wants or close to it.

AP and DQ want Terry, there is no ifs ans or buts about it. The hold up is he turns 30 in September, and the length of the contract. Money is not an issue.WildBunny wrote: Wed Jun 11, 2025 1:54 amEven if Terry's average at best, which I disagree with, the NFL is known for overpaying.
