When he is healthy, he's been good for us! No doubt. He's a good teammate and seems to fit the mold of what we're trying to build. But, for me, it's like....yeah he's good, but we can do better. Have him #2. Keep him fresh and healthy for ground-it-out time.
As far as JD, my heart was beating so hard when he was bent awkwardly on Sunday. But, it really hasn't been a concern for me. He's 100X smarter than...the previous. And as stated, you got to let him do what he does.

My message to Jayden would be: Keep doing you kid, you're doing great things. Play smart like you do when its not on the line, and keep putting it on the line when it is. Trust your ability.

His mobility is a cheat code and is gamebreaking when coupled with his already advanced passing. He can't just not run. I do agree the end of the Falcon game was a bit much, but it was a desperation situation and going all out to win and clinch the playoff spot, so I'm okay with it.
Mobile QBs are actually more often MORE safe when running because they can get out of bounds or run away from defenders and slide. The most vicious hits he's taken this year have been in the pocket(that nasty looking hit last week, and the hit in the first Giant game). The rib injury tackle against Carolina was kinda just fluky with a DB chasing him from behind and pulling him awkwardly.

I think we all have collective PTSD from 2012. I know I spent all night Sunday screaming at my TV for the announcer to stop comparing JD5 to RG3, especially after that one scary looking hit. But I think, as fragile as Daniels can look due to his slim frame, he's a much smarter runner than Griffin was. JD5 knows how to slide/dive, which saves him some hits. He's shown a willingness to run out of bounds rather than take a brutal hit to gain an extra yard or 2 when it's not necessary. He's much deadlier as a passer already than Griffin ever way, which has to keep defenses even more honest with him. Yeah, I still hold my breath every time he takes off or looks like he's about to be hit, but my heart doesn't sink the same way it did in 2012.

You got to take your shot at greatness when you can. Take the Lombardi, and it isn’t even close. If it wasn’t for the money at stake, I’m sure JD would love to take one sb and done over a Tony romo Career. Having a shot a generational wealth makes the choice a bit more complex….
