not gonna call the trade a bust already. this was a longer term move with 2025 draft in mind, as well.....but we need him badly. if Michael Davis has to play again, i'm gonna put up masking tape over my screen on his side of the field.

Haha, no joke. I can't believe this is the best product we could muster up. After reading more on Lattimore and decision to trade for him. He was definitely a longterm fix not necessary an immediate. As long as Lattimore can stay healthy he will certainly be a massive upgrade. BSJ is so, so bad that Michael Davis is the answer.

I'm still on board with the trade but I don't think anyone was expecting 7 quarters of play in 2024. His status for the playoffs has to be in question given how long his recovery was. Now we have to really wonder if we have locked down that side of the field for the next 2 years as this guy is simply not available every week.

He was never going to play this week. Only hope is he can make an impact playoffs and beyond. His health is important to understand for draft planning.

Obviously no need to rush him this week, hopefully he's ready to go by the wild card game.

Still on board with the trade, but it will be disappointing if he can't go in the playoffs, especially now that we've got Jon Allen back, I want to see what this defense looks like.

DQ said he's close but they're not going to rush him back. Soft tissue issues are always rough and take time. I want him for the playoffs. We should be able to beat Dallas without him. Especially with CeeDee out.

I’m a little worried the dude just wants a paycheck.

What makes you think that? The guy is a heck of a CB and not someone who just wants to get paid.

Quinn sounded positive about him practicing on the side this week. I think they are resting him for the playoffs.
