It took me a long, forced push to get into 4x strategy games, but I started with Humankind on Gamepass. I liked it a lot, but everyone said Civilization 6 was the game to judge all other 4x games against. I bought it, it was ok. It wasn't as intuitive, pretty or fun as Humankind. So when I heard about Civ 7, I was curious as to how the series would progress. I think I'll let Civ 7 cook for a bit.

Recall that on ES there were a few fans of Kingdom Come. Saw that there is a sequel out now and in the videos I saw it looks very polished. Wondering if anyone here has tried it yet?

I bought KCD for Xbox before I had an Xbox, its the reason I bought an Xbox. I'm really excited about this sequel, even though I never finished the first one. What ruined the game for me was the leveling up progression. I wasn't even 25% thru the story and I was already maxed out with the best gear. I tend to do that, do a lot of side quests instead of the main game, I'll do differently when I get the sequel.
Had a nice long preview written out, goddamn forum didn't save it, not writing it again:
The Bustling World
Just watch this video, open world game where you can allegedly do anything and live an actual life.

The new Civ does a lot of new things and does a lot of it well, but they already screwed up quite a few things and its clearly unfinished. I played it a lot over the weekend and enjoyed it but already find myself needing a bit of a break.

Has anyone else played "Avowed" yet? I've played thru the tutorial area and I'm really liking it right now. Its not a deep RPG, but the combat is a blast. Kind of like a less immersive Skyrim, but with FPS gameplay of Kingdoms of Amalaur or Dragon's Dogma.
Edit: Also, the Metro bundle is on sale on Xbox for $9. Anyone ever play that series?

Finishing up a replay of Days Gone. This is such a great and underrated game.

Just had a fun moment on Fallout 76. Some guy on my team's PSN was "onlyzuul," so I turned my mic on and said (in gatekeeper voice) "there is no Dana, only zuul."
He turned his mic on and asked "are you a God?" I said no, and he hit the "then dieeeee"
He and I and some other random teammate exchanged random Ghostbusters quotes for the next 5 minutes.
