1-12 against Q1 UNC who plays in the weakest P1 conference this year gets in when no one expects it.

6-10 against Q1 WVU does not.

Sigh. Make it make sense.

Edit..I guess UNC's AD being the head of the selection committee explains it. 🙄

North Carolina getting in the tournament is an absolute joke. Possibly the worst decision I have ever seen in my years watching college basketball. They beat almost no good teams! 1-12 Quad 1 record.

Indiana has no quad 3 or 4 losses. Beat Michigan State on the road. Beat Purdue.

OK, I wasn't paying attention to the selection, and I just filled out my bracket on CBS Sports, and they didn't list the play in games. They just have SD State as the 11 seed, with no mention of UNC.

He gets a $100,000 bonus for UNC making the tournament. This is pretty simple.

Lol his big explanation was because WVU was missing Tucker Devries.

The dude played only the first 8 games or..25% of the season.

WVU had 3x as many Q1 wins without Tucker as UNC did all season. 🙄

Lot of tough talk over a NCAA slight. It happens, teams get jobbed and miss out on the tourney.

Yeah that's the stupid WV politics of the late 20th and early 21st century. Even the remaining Democrats in the state are largely conservative.

The State itself is dying a slow death and no one cares.

That said, WVU sued the NCAA last year over their dumb denial of RaeQuan Battle's waiver. Perhaps this was payback from the NCAA powers?

Best of luck to Coach DeVries at Indiana. Wished you'd have stayed more than 1 year at WVU but it wasn't meant to be.
