Trump Bags Over $100 Million While MAGA Investors Lose $2 Billion on His Meme Coin

Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency, called $Trump, has caused billions of dollars in losses for investors. The former president launched his meme coin, a type of cryptocurrency based on internet memes and celebrity figures, just three days before his inauguration.

“Join my very special Trump Community. GET YOUR $TRUMP NOW,” he posted on TruthSocial. The coin’s opening price was only 18 cents, but it quickly soared to $75. Early buyers who got in right away made big profits. One person even earned $109 million in just two days, according to a New York Times report.

However, the value of $Trump dropped sharply to about $17, leading to over $2 billion in losses for many other investors. A report by Chainalysis, a crypto forensics firm, found that over 810,000 crypto wallets had lost money from the coin.

Meanwhile, the Trumps walked away with over $100 million in trading fees, leaving countless investors holding the bag. Trump has also moved aggressively to limit government control over cryptocurrencies, making it easier for schemes like this to run unchecked.

Trump promises 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum imports — including from Canada

U.S. President Donald Trump said he will announce on Monday that the United States will impose 25 per cent tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports, including from Canada and Mexico — a move that prompted sharp criticism from some provincial premiers.

"Any steel coming into the United States is going to have a 25 per cent tariff," he told reporters Sunday on Air Force One as he flew from Florida to New Orleans to attend the Super Bowl. When asked about aluminum, he responded, "aluminum, too" will be subject to the trade penalties.

Trump also reaffirmed that he would announce "reciprocal tariffs" — "probably Tuesday or Wednesday" — meaning that the U.S. would impose import duties on products in cases where another country has levied duties on U.S. goods.

"If they are charging us 130 per cent and we're charging them nothing, it's not going to stay that way," he told reporters.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is currently in Paris ahead of a high-profile artificial intelligence summit. He did not respond to reporters' questions about Trump's tariff announcement as he walked into his hotel following a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron.

On Sunday night, Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne said in a social media post that "Canadian steel and aluminum support key industries in the U.S. from defence, shipbuilding and auto."

A bit tongue in cheek, but it would be hilarious and incredibly fortunate for Mrs. Sisko and me if S.A. reciprocated for Black US citizens. It would make our bug out planning much easier/faster since S.A. is in our top five. j/s

Even funnier is that probably at least 90% of White S.A.s wouldn’t even consider this. They got an awfully sweet deal from Mandela and still control a lot of the country’s wealth. What would they get out of coming here except less political power, greater chances of being caught up in a mass shooting and crappier, more expensive food?

I fear that ultimately violence will be the only way to get free from the dictatorship of Trump.

The courts are powerless because even if they ruled against him; he wouldn’t follow a court order. The gop congress will let run ruffshot because they agree with a lot of he wants to do.

I see him creating an SS army with all those J6 protestors- whether they went to jail or not. The regular army may not comply with his orders.

Just like 1776 when we fought freedom we may have to do it again. Blood will be shed.

MAGA is lost forever, they will just blame Dems. The rest non maga supporters of his, won’t wake up until they experience all the negative things personally. By then it may be to late to change anything without fighting.

Judge Rules the White House Failed to Comply With Court Order

A federal judge on Monday said the White House has defied his order to release billions of dollars in federal grants, marking the first time a judge has expressly declared that the Trump White House was disobeying a judicial mandate.

The ruling by Judge John J. McConnell Jr. in Rhode Island federal court ordered Trump administration officials to comply with what he called “the plain text” of an edict he issued on Jan. 29.

That order, he wrote, was “clear and unambiguous, and there are no impediments to the Defendants’ compliance with” it.

Judge McConnell’s ruling marked a step toward what could quickly evolve into a high-stakes showdown between the executive and judicial branches, a day after a social media post by Vice President JD Vance claimed that “judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power,” elevating the chance that the White House could provoke a constitutional crisis.

“It’s very rare for a president not to comply with an order,” said Victoria Nourse, a professor at Georgetown University Law Center who served during the Obama and Biden administrations. “This is part of a pattern where President Trump appears to be asserting authority that he doesn’t have.”

But for some of President Trump’s allies, it is the judges ruling against Mr. Trump who are out of bounds.

“Activist judges must stop illegally meddling with the President’s Article II powers,” wrote Mike Davis, who heads the Article III Project, a conservative advocacy group.

Already, more than 40 lawsuits have been filed against the Trump administration challenging Mr. Trump’s brazen moves, which have included revoking birthright citizenship and giving Elon Musk’s teams access to sensitive Treasury Department payment systems. Judges have already ruled that many of these executive actions may violate existing statutes.
