Capitol Hill used to have at least two Teslas parked on every block. I hardly see any now. My cousin who lives on my block had one until recently when he traded it in for a Prius. He won’t be buying one ever again.

This dude spit in the face of his customers. The only electric car Maggots would consider is the Cybertruck or GMC Hummer. But realistically they hate electric cars.

Exclusive-Musk aides lock government workers out of computer systems at US agency, sources say

Aides to Elon Musk charged with running the U.S. government human resources agency have locked career civil servants out of computer systems that contain the personal data of millions of federal employees, according to two agency officials.

Since taking office 11 days ago, President Donald Trump has embarked on a massive government makeover, firing and sidelining hundreds of civil servants in his first steps toward downsizing the bureaucracy and installing more loyalists.

Musk, the billionaire Tesla CEO and X owner tasked by Trump to slash the size of the 2.2 million-strong civilian government workforce, has moved swiftly to install allies at the agency known as the Office of Personnel Management.

The two officials, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation, said some senior career employees at OPM have had their access revoked to some of the department's data systems.

The systems include a vast database called Enterprise Human Resources Integration, which contains dates of birth, Social Security numbers, appraisals, home addresses, pay grades and length of service of government workers, the officials said.

"We have no visibility into what they are doing with the computer and data systems," one of the officials said. "That is creating great concern. There is no oversight. It creates real cybersecurity and hacking implications."

Officials affected by the move can still log on and access functions such as email but can no longer see the massive datasets that cover every facet of the federal workforce.

Musk, OPM, representatives of the new team, and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Tesla earnings results are a disaster—and it's all thanks to Elon Musk

Being a pompous Nazi is apparently not good for business, as the latest Tesla earnings report indicates.

For the third time in four quarters, Tesla missed revenue targets, this time by a hefty 5.25%. And that’s not even the worst of it.

CEO Elon Musk, the world’s richest person nearly twice over the second-place Jeff Bezos, announced profits of $2.3 billion for the final quarter of 2024, compared to $7.9 billion a year ago.

Yet even those two numbers are smoke and mirrors—in 2023, that profit included a one-time tax benefit of $5.9 billion, and last quarter’s numbers include a $600 million profit from bitcoin. Yes, nearly a third of the profit of this supposed car and battery storage company came from something completely unrelated to its core business.

Another $692 million of that profit came from regulatory clean energy credits purchased by other car companies to meet air quality emission standards. In other words, another third of Tesla’s profit came directly from the same kind of government regulations that Donald Trump (with Musk’s help!) and the GOP Congress has promised to hack.

For all of 2024, Tesla’s profit was $7.1 billion, half of the $15 billion Tesla made in 2023. And 2024 was also the first year in which Tesla shipped less cars than the year prior.

Elon Musk’s Team Now Has Full Access to Treasury’s Payments System

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave Mr. Musk’s representatives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency a powerful tool to monitor and potentially limit government spending.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave representatives of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency full access to the federal payment system late on Friday, according to three people familiar with the change, handing Elon Musk and the team he is leading a powerful tool to monitor and potentially limit government spending.

The new authority follows a standoff this week with a top Treasury official who had resisted allowing Mr. Musk’s lieutenants into the department’s payment system, which sends out money on behalf of the entire federal government. The official, a career civil servant named David Lebryk, was put on leave and then suddenly retired on Friday after the dispute, according to people familiar with his exit.

The system could give the Trump administration another mechanism to attempt to unilaterally restrict disbursement of money approved for specific purposes by Congress, a push that has faced legal roadblocks.

Mr. Musk, who has been given wide latitude by President Trump to find ways to slash government spending, has recently fixated on Treasury’s payment processes, criticizing the department in a social media post on Saturday for not rejecting more payments as fraudulent or improper.

It is not clear whether the team led by Mr. Musk, the world’s wealthiest man, has blocked any payments since gaining access to the system.

I imagine there will be a bunch of lawsuits once he [illegally] blocks sending out funds that were authorized by Congress. This is going to get ugly.

This is probably what its going to take to get everyone off their feet and into the streets, we're a very stupid and slow country. However, you take our welfare away, we'll revolt. I also think it makes it easier for Americans to turn because an unelected, unpopular, foreign billionaire is doing it.

Also, once he has access...what to stop him from STILL doing it? How are we actually going to enforce these rulings? He's already committed at least one impeachable offense (some say two), how many can he get away with until we take a grand slam swing?

Protests won’t change anything. Remember, Trump will send the military on protesters and shoot them.

There will be a tipping point and violence against the politicians/administration officials that did this , will start happening.
