Pickens is a Grade A Shithead. Always has been, always will be. If Mike Tomlin gives up on you, it's over. He's never growing up.
So yeah, he'll fit in well in Dallas.

Re: Welcome to the Commanders Josh Conerly Jr., T Oregon
Yeah he does sound super smart SIP. A lot of OLs are football nerds like him, and usually they're the lifers who either end up as really good players or really good analysts/coaches.
The more I learn about Conerly, the more I like the pick. I would've picked Ezeiruaka over him on draft night, but I ...

Re: Welcome to the Commanders Trey Amos, DB Ole Miss
(I'll speculate as to why. He's not good against the run, and it appears given the Eagles success that teams in the NFL are rethinking their commitment to stopping the run. And then being in the Eagles division that make is that much more important. He actually appears to be a willing run helper ...

Re: The 2025 NFL Draft Thread
D Line is the only weakness on the team now IMO.
I wouldn't call them weaknesses, but WR, RB, TE, and LB are all below average areas of the team, with room for huge improvement.
TE has the potential to get good because of Sinnott, but we don't really know which way that's going to go yet. I ...

Re: Welcome to the Commanders Trey Amos, DB Ole Miss
Amos is a good prospect. Great reactive athleticism, stays in phase and easily carries receivers deep, hips are fluid and his transitions from backpedal look really fast so I think his press man cover talent is really good. His hands are a really big strength too. Not so much in catching the ball ...

Re: Draft thread
I haven't really given Amos any thought before now, but he's got really good film. 13 PBUs in a season is fantastic. Really fast and coordinated hands. Super long arms. Good flexibility in his legs. Great reactive athleticism with a really nice looking transition from backpedal. Good speed. Sees the ...

For me it definitely would have been Xavier Watts at 61.

Re: Draft thread
TreVeyon is going to be one of the first players picked in the second round. No way we're getting him.
At 61, we're probably looking at that next tier of RB: Judkins, Sampson, Johnson, Tuten. I don't feel as great about this group of players, they all have important flaws IMO, and I'm not convinced ...

Re: Draft thread
Landon Jackson is my pick if we go Edge. He's big and strong and can actually play all 3 downs (as opposed to Ez who is a pass rush specialist and too undersized to be a full time DE).
But if Treveyon Henderson is there I'm taking him. A Daniels/Henderson backfield behind our OL is going to ...
