Talk about a real barn burner, and Washington takes their first paloff victory in twenty years. This game had me on the edge of my seat the whole way and by god what a game it was. I was very worried about how our team went about clock management this game as the Bucs had one of the best TOP coming into it. Glad to have Bia back at center and that definitely shored up some of the issues from the Cowboys game. Tampa likes to throw the house at opposing QBs. With 3 seconds left, Zane putting us in the win column with a doink.. talk about a year for our kickers. For how close the actual game was, we have a lot of good come out of it.

Now for the good, the bad, and the ugly:

The Good:

Jayden Daniels with a stellar game, this kid cannot have more ice in his veins
Scary Terry making his presence felt especially early on
Dyami Brown making a bunch of clutch plays, fighting for that new contract - I feel like he actually showed up a bunch this season and I'll be curious to see if the Ders put an offer to him
Tress Way once again (no I'm not biased  ) dude has a leg of gold
Zach Ertz just for the vet presence and coming up clutch as well
Zane Gonzo for the winning kick
Defense overall, held one of the best offenses in the NFL to under 300 yards.
Our fans - I haven't seen, in over 30 years, that many of our fans in an opposing stadium. Hell yeah 12th man!
Clock management, after last week DQ looks to have adjusted and learned.
Bobby Wags for his awareness, that fumble recovery was huge.

The Bad:

The Refs, don't get me wrong, everyone always hates on the zebras but the blatant missed calls were all over the place. In example, the push off from Evans on Lattimore, the hit on JD5 while out of bounds during the second quarter, I could go on and on but they were clearly not unbiased.

Brian Robinson Jr. look I get it, he's a decent RB but when you continue to try to push him up the middle or a slash it just doesn't work. He doesn't have the acceleration that you are looking for in a bell cow back. Love his attitude, but he just isn't it.

Lattimore. You can clearly see he is rusty, and the emotions need to be kept in check. Can't be pulling the crap he did against the lions. I saw in the one game day chat people calling to put in St. Juice.. no, just no

The Ugly:

Quan Martin - how did your head not hit that pass from Mayfield to Evans in the endzone?! That was some witch craft if I've ever seen it.

John Bates - quite a few times I saw him out there trying to block but he looks completely lost when doing it.

Constantly going for it on 4th down and not producing. We are usually really good at this but last night was not in our favor.

Dirty players on the Bucs, I cringed when I saw that defender hit JD5 in the knees.

Again: Feel free to share your thoughts, nurse your hangover, and get ready to shave some cats.

For years I've said something that was pretty controversial:

Football is an individual sport disguised as a team sport.

I mean it semi facetiously, but not really.

It almost doesn't matter what the rest of your team looks like. It doesn't matter if your OL can't block, or if you average 1 YPC running in the 2nd half. It doesn't matter if you can't cover the other team's future HOF WR or stop the run in the 2nd half. It doesn't matter if your 2nd and 3rd best players are past their prime TE and backup RB. When you have a GUY at QB, you can beat anyone. We can throw out there the likes of Andrew Wylie and Ben St. Juste and four different Ks and still win.

Most games will come down to your GUY being better than the other team's guy. We have a guy, and our guy was better than their guy when it mattered most. And our guy will be better than almost every other team's guy.

Our overall roster is still mostly pretty "meh" at best. But when your QB is Superman, its like, does it even matter? We've won 13 games and are in the Elite 8 of the NFL. Because of a 24 year old rookie.

And guess what? Our guy will be better than the other guy next week, and if we win, the week after that too. Probably won't be the case if we're playing in New Orleans in February, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. ;)

We absolutely have a chance next week, because Superman wears #5 in burgundy and gold.

See you in Detroit.

Having a the guy can make your entire team better because your entire team is willing to work a little harder, focus a little more in team meetings, believe that if they get the stop or the yard greatness is attainable. Even those just in it for the money because greatness is money in the nfl.

Jayden has the team believing.

BRob isn’t a bellcow back. We need to find one in free agency or the draft. At best, he’s a backup providing relief to starter.

Frankly, it wouldn’t shock me if he’s cut.

Good to see familiar names on here, I had been thinking about the old board in the intervening weeks and how various posters may have been reacting to the unfolding season. I miss the old JD debates lol.

What a ride. Imagine telling us back in preseason the year JD would end up having. Some might have believed but many others would scoff.

After 25 years of horrid ownership, indeed the worst in pro sports, this season the team and franchise exercised just about every Dan Snyder demon that had been haunting us. There's almost something cosmic about it. Incredible.

Something is up with him. He looked so much better earlier in the year. Now he has absolutely no wiggle or juice whatsoever. I know the blocking hasn't been the best but I saw some holes that should have gotten 5+ that he ends up only getting 3 on. I don't know if he's playing hurt or what.

I agree that something is wrong with Robinson. Also, this is why you should always be looking to add RB talent. Probably from the middle rounds. Get an elite OL and an average RB can do a lot of damage. I'd like to see CRod active next week instead of McNichols. Got to try something.

Great win. Will wait to the offseason to complain about the obvious things that need to be fixed.

I'm still DEEP in my feelings from the win, but I think Terry just became my favorite Redskin of all-time.
