Light flurries in ALX now. Main event should be Sunday night. Looking like around 8 inches.

Yes. No longer needed access to schools, or to NoVA/DC for work activities. Moved to have much less traffic and to be much closer to mountains (can see the Blue Ridge from my deck), while still an easy drive to our kids, Dulles Airport etc. when needed.PleaseBlitz wrote: Fri Jan 03, 2025 9:59 pmSay fuckit to Ashburn?Corcaigh wrote: Fri Jan 03, 2025 9:24 pm Out here in the boonies (Shenandoah Valley) there was a little patchy icing and somehow a car got on its side on the nearest main road.
This area is going to get buried. The main roadways aren't going to be completely cleared until later in the day on Tuesday. Side roads and the majority of neighborhood roads won't be cleared until Wednesday morning.ixcuincle wrote: Sun Jan 05, 2025 6:10 am Models are saying 6-10 on monday
considering i have an eye doctor appointment tuesday and errands to run I would prefer as little snow as possible fall during the next few days. Keep the streets clear cause I got shit to do.
Good luck and be careful. I hope you make it to your appointment safely.
