Quarterback Jayden Daniels and the Commanders will rock new threads this season that call back to the franchise’s winning history. The team unveiled “Super Bowl Era” throwback uniforms on Wednesday.
The new white jerseys and burgundy pants match the uniforms worn by the franchise when it was known as the Redskins throughout their three Super Bowl triumphs.
“We are excited to celebrate Washington’s incredible history with these iconic, Super Bowl Era uniforms this season,” Commanders President Mark Clouse said in a statement. “Ever since Josh Harris and our ownership group acquired the team back in 2023, they’ve placed great value in finding ways to connect the past and present and honor those that made the burgundy and gold what it is today.”
The white jerseys feature burgundy numbers with red and gold stripes on the sleeves. The pants feature yellow and white piping. The socks have the same striping scheme.
The helmets feature the same gold and white stripe down the center with yellow face masks that fans have been clamoring for. Even the font on the nameplates matches the old uniforms.
