She has died at 87. Rip Hot Lips.

Just heard it on the radio. She was great in the series. Fantastic comedic actress but also had her share of very dramatic moments in that series (which was the nature of the series---fantastic performances, writing, acting, filming, staging, and the full range of human behavior in a foreign land during s major war).

Genius all the way around and Hot Lips was a cornerstone. Thank you Loretta. You will always be revered for your talents and who you seemed to be as a person.
