The next tv contract isn’t up until 2032/33 but has an opt out in 2029.
Buzz is building Netflix could go after either the entire SNF package or one or both of the Sunday Afternoon packages.
Netflix wants the NFL beyond what they have

I have Netflix but really I think this would be a mistake by the nfl. They have to keep the game accessible on tv.88Commanders00 wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 11:26 amThe next tv contract isn’t up until 2032/33 but has an opt out in 2029.

So funny, people cut the cord because they didn't like paying for hundreds of channels that they didn't want...so they went to streaming. Now you have to pay for a hundred streaming services just to watch tv! They can put it on whatever, I'll be illegally streaming whatever I need to so I can watch football.SWIM wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 8:52 amI have Netflix but really I think this would be a mistake by the nfl. Yea, now we pay more for TV than we ever did, and we are still stuck with commercials. And now there is no way to skip them unless you put out top shelf money.Simmsy wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 2:23 pmSo funny, people cut the cord because they didn't like paying for hundreds of channels that they didn't want...so they went to streaming. It’s like the coin under the cup trick…
The streams are good enough, I wish I had a better way to put them on my big tv, though.SWIM wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 2:38 pmYea, now we pay more for TV than we ever did, and we are still stuck with commercials. I just use the Internet browser that came with my LG TV. Can't put ad-block on it so I have to close some tabs to watch a game, a small effort for some free game watching thoughSimmsy wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 2:23 pm
