Before the draft, early stages of free agency. We got a lot of free agents, who do we keep? Who do we target in free agency?

I am not as sold as you are about the interior OL. BadAss was a great signing and a big improvement, but nobody is confusing him with another Dwight Stephenson. Alagretti is average in every sense of the word and Sam Cosmi is one of the few players on this team to not live up to expectations. I figured this was his year to take the next step to very good/great and if anything he reverted and it not anything close to great.Warhead36 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 10:29 amBrown is barely better then a JAG and it took him four years to get there. He's AT BEST a WR3 on a good team but he's really a WR4. Let some other team fall in love with his two good playoff games and overpay him.
We seem committed to Coleman developing at LT, but it wouldn't shock me if we tried to upgrade at RT. Interior OL is rock solid at worst and top 3-5 in the league at best.

There are a lot of really good OGs in free agency. I'd like to start with an upgrade at LG. We need better than average.

I figured this was his year to take the next step to very good/great and he actually played worse this season and is not anything close to great and now his knee is wrecked. I don't see that group as anyting close to rock solid or top 3-5 in the league when they don't have one great player and they have one who is average.Warhead36 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 10:29 amBrown is barely better then a JAG and it took him four years to get there. Interior is NOT rock solid, Cosmi is injured and probably won’t be ready for week 1 and Allegretti is what we thought he was, a great backup below average starter… yeah we could do worse and Wylie would be my upgrade target, but interior beef is a major need…Warhead36 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 10:29 amBrown is barely better then a JAG and it took him four years to get there.
