The Washington Commanders on Monday introduced Dan Quinn as the 31st head coach in franchise history and the first hired by managing partner Josh Harris, who purchased the team from Daniel Snyder last year. Quinn, who previously coached the Atlanta Falcons and most recently served as the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, made a strong first impression while describing his excitement to get the franchise “back to where it needs to be.”
“We spoke to a ton of great candidates, but our process led us to the decision that Dan Quinn is the perfect man for the job,” Commanders General Manager Adam Peters said.

Nice to see how far we came in one year… keeping up the momentum is the hard part tough. Only two teams from the entire NFC get this far each year.
