Wiz probably don't even need to hit on generational talents to be good. They just need to actually draft talented NBA players in the lottery.

They took Kispert at 15 in 2021. Sengun was taken next.

In 2022, they took Johny Davis at 10 and Jalen Williams was taken at 12.

That's probably true of a lot of teams but the Wiz just seem like they are comically bad at it.
there's nobody in this draft worth taking outside the top 3

the second worst team missing out on Cooper, Bailey or Harper is criminal

Time will tell but I'd bet the field against the top 3 almost every year. Personally I like Tre Johnson at 6 for Le Wiz and then pair him up with another 19yo like Thomas Sorber or Carter Bryant at pick 18.

Wizards should trade up for #1 pick.

Dallas doesn't need a developmental player that could be a star, we do.

Dallas isn't trading the pick. Its like when people said the Giants should have moved up to get Daniels in the 2024 NFL draft. It wasn't gonna happen.

Why?

This feels like more an assumption then a discussion.

Perhaps because their GM likes his job, maybe? After the Luka trade and the Davis injury, they need a player like Flagg. Aside from being fired, dude might get killed by the fans if he traded down after all that.

He's doing the bidding of the owner trying to move to Vegas, otherwise he'd already be fired.

He traded away a generational talent a year after being in the finals and missed the playoffs...he should already be gone, but he not.

Last season (24') was Dolson's first season with the Mystics.

Well first season since they originally drafted her back in the day.
