While Wylie's overall wasn't the greatest he didn't allow a single sack this year (first among all Tackles). For all intents and purposes I wouldn't look to upgrade RT just for continuity sake. If Cosmi comes back strong, the strength of our line rests between Bia, Cos, and Wylie. Allegretti definitely needs to be upgraded however, and Coleman while serviceable at LT, is not what I want blocking JD5s blind side for years to come. Allowing 9 sacks on the year he was one of the worst tackles graded by PFF in that regard.

To me this is where stats are deceiving. I thought the OT's were a weak link to the OL in all games Biadasz was out or distinctly slowed by injury. quite a number of games. Wylie's main trait is inconsistency. He can look good in spurts but you know he is going to giant mistakes and whiffs. JD's maneuverability is the only reason more people aren't yelling for Wylies head.

Coleman was not great but he was serviceable. They drafted him for LT because of his athletic abilities, smarts and the fact that he was still a bit raw and they felt he could be made into a starter on the outside with a move inside if that theory failed. He is still learning and should improve, I expect they plan to keep him out there unless a major LT option becomes available and doesn't cost too much. It is a shame but I don't see him being able to shift to RT.

I hope they draft a T early that they can at least try at T and move inside if need be or one that has experience and appears to be able to handle either side at T.

They should address IOL in FA and a late draft pick

The exec isn't wrong. Daniels has raised the ceiling of the team but the floor is still super low. For comparison sake, look at the Cowboys. They had a rash of injuries, including to their starting QB, and still managed 7 wins. 49ers were similar, tons of injuries, but still won 6. If we had those same kind of injuries we MAYBE win 3 games.

I could see Peters looking at this roster and thinking: "Last year was great, but I still need to infuse the team with more young talent and rebuild our development infrastructure."

We got lucky and didn't have near the injuries of some of the other contenders. I don't look for that to repeat itself so they need more depth, starting at center. The dropoff there was just so apparent.

I totally agree. I realize there is a narrow window with the Rookie contract but solid building rather than spending too much seems to make sense. I am wondering, in terms of salary cap, if we weight salary early so we have money when Daniels costs us 80 million a year.

I'd assume that AP is going to be relatively balanced as he's building the roster. Draft picks are important to build a long term solid base of the team, while making smart additions in FA to fill immediate holes. But that also makes me dubious as to whether he'd go for a trade for a guy like Garrett. He's amazing, but he's also going to be 30 and along with costing a likely 1st and 2nd rounder this year (at very minimum), he's going to be looking for huge new long term 5-6 year contract too, which could saddle us when it comes to extending JD in 2 years.

Hes not my top desire. Yes hes old but hes an elite run sruffer who can ser the edge and a big culture guy. And you van get him for a ham sandwich. Calais Campbell.

also should be cheap, BJ Hill as a rotational guy at DT to help stop the run.

If his medicals check out, D. Lawrence, also should be cheap and is also a good run stuffer,

i prefer going younger but I dont mind some cheapish veterans on the cheap especially with leadership juice in a chase a SB season.

I’d trade for Garrett in a heartbeat but wonder if he gets moved in the end.

Deebo I think might get released. If he’s his old self, he’s tailor made to help combat the Eagles head to head. Screen/YAC players help that cause. But I haven’t watched Deebo this last season so dont know how much he’s declining
