I suspect Minny would rather face the Dubs than the shit that the Rockets pull every game.
Rockets have a team chock full of wannabe Draymond Greens and whiny LeBron lites (not you Steven Adams, you're cool, please come join SF in the offseason).

Gregg Popovich stepping down as Spurs coach to become team president
Gregg Popovich, who has won more games than any coach in NBA history and transformed the San Antonio Spurs into one of the league’s cornerstone franchises of the 21st century, is stepping down as head coach and will become the team’s president of basketball operations.
Popovich, 76, who won an NBA-record 1,422 regular-season games and was thrice the league’s coach of the year, had not coached since suffering a mild stroke on Nov. 2.
Mitch Johnson, who took over for Popovich on an interim basis and piloted the Spurs to a final record of 34-48, will have the interim tag removed and continue as head coach, the team announced Friday. One league source said Popovich recommended Johnson for the promotion.

King of the wrong thing....nah, some of his bs here to stay, but I'm ready for post-LeBron as well.
They didn't lose this series because of him, now that he's passed 40 it is amazing he's playing at this level but he shouldn't be expected to carry these bums like he did the Cavs all those years.
This also speaks to how bad their roster is that Luka couldn't either after pulling the Mavs to the Finals last year.
Going to Dallas this offseason sounds as chaotic as going to Cleveland last year would've been despite JJ and Bronny being there to convince him to stay...which is why I'm banking on him staying in LA and demanding Max Money to "to protect the other players", enjoy the weather, and continue potty training his son.
Staying in LA has kinda helped prove who he really is, there was never gonna be a redemption tour.
Opinion.
