Living under Trump 2 aka Musk!!!
I don't like it, but it needs to be done. America needs to hit rock bottom, its the only way the people will do something. I think ending government benefits will do it, people in the country aren't poor. They're not poor in a world sense, if they start getting a taste of real poverty, losing their homes and can't eat, they will kill. I'll say it this one, last time: if the Trump regime continues down this path, it will end in violence.

1. It's one thing to try to ignore the Constitution, but most every case where a democracy was wiped out the Constitution itself was changed to allow it...
Ours is one of the hardest to change in the world
2. He won't be able to run and claim a stolen election, or rig one, in 2028. He'd have to jus sit in the white house and dare folks to kick him out. At some point he'll gore out far as he can go with executive power and be a lame duck after the midterms
3. GOP making strides with minorities is actually a good thing, as is finally winning the popular vote. For decades, GOP has chosen to steal power instead of reach out to minorities, but Hispanics are proving to be far more conservative then Dems expected and the truth is many black people are pretending not to be.
4. No clear heir to Trump...totally a cult of personality that few have gotten to work outside their own state (DeSantis for example). Couchfucker is not the guy MAGA seems all in ti rally around, frankly no one is...which will create a power vacuum when Trump inevitably dies or even sooner
Don't shot the messenger, I respect Vox, this is an optimistic take shared by an optimist.
