Nice win in OT for the girls this evening. Running 3 pointer to win! Hope Poffenbarger is back soon.

Win got them the 3 seed and double bye in the tournament. Likely to face Illinois, who they lost to, in Xfinity, earlier this year.

Big win at Michigan for the boys! Incredible defensive effort. Rice had some clutch shots. Miguel carried the first half. And Queen continues to make plays. Reese is so good defensively he had like 3 steals.

Was unable to watch last night’s game, because we had family in town. Just finished watching a replay, and saw another gutsy win.

Defense was fantastic! Got 12 steals, and caused 16 turnovers. Win a lot of games with those stats, even if you don’t shoot well, which the Terps have not, recently. Queen with another solid game, especially on the glass, and at the line, but missed a good number of makeable shots. Gillespie is in a little rut right now, but hit a big 3 late, and was everywhere on defense. Rice and Miguel both hit big shots when needed, and Geronimo with BIG minutes off the bench. Then there’s Juju.

Reese is such a frustrating player to watch. He has good athletic ability for a guy his size, and can do some good things on the basketball court, but those are almost always negated by poor decisions, softness, and a general lack of basketball IQ. Couple big steals late, and two free throws also, to help seal the win, but again in foul trouble, and ineffective on the offensive end. 14 points in his past 3 games is almost inexcusable. You’d think he could get that just on put backs. If this team wants to do anything in the B1G and NCAA tournaments, Reese has got to start contributing more on offense.

Big win on the road (again), and one win, at home on Senior Day against Northwestern, away from securing a top 4 seed, and double bye in the B1G. Been a really good season, hope they keep it going for a while more. When this team plays to the best of their ability, they can give anyone a game!

Hopefully he earns it, but I imagine his predecessor didn’t exactly give him a great situation.
