Is it wrong that I wish ES was alive simply so I can go back and see who laughed at me when I said we were screwed when Biden dropped out? I owe several people an "I told you so".

Some of you want to try and salvage this, I think we should do the opposite. People are going to fight Trump, I'm not saying they shouldn't and I wouldn't try to stop them, but I would let Trump do whatever he wants. I hope Trump runs his nuts across this country and puts it so far into the ground that Maga can't defend him. I want it so bad that Maga becomes a bad word, when people mention trump, I want the next reaction to be a scoff. As soon a Maga realizes they are screwed worse than ever and Dems stop looking to the courts, Ernst and Collins to save them, maybe we can have actually change.

No the mistake was Biden running at all. He couldn’t put his ego aside. The truth about his mental decline was worse than we thought and the coverup.

Biden wasn’t going to win. He was going to lose and lose in landslide and the gop victories would’ve been bigger; similar to when Obama won in 2008.

As far as what you said, I’m with you there. The people that voted him won’t realize just how bad Trump is; until they experience the hell he will bring. By 11/5/25 there will be deep regret.

MAGA though won’t see the light. They will blame Democrats. They need to suffer hell. I’ll be laughing at their suffering.

I’ll have to carry my passport card with me. MAGA doesn’t isn’t just planning to go after illegals. They plan on going after legal immigrants. They want to reverse all nonwhite naturalized citizens citizenship and deport them. Also, they will have a hotline and you know maga will be calling it and try to get rid of all nonwhite immigrants.

If they come for me, I’m not going anywhere and they will have to kill me.

Due to the cold, Trump’s inauguration is being moved inside.

So, instead of crowd size it will be tv ratings The ratings will be less than 2017.

He says its because of the cold, but the weather has been known for a while, Trump was inviting people up to a couple of days ago. He's worried no one will show up.

Edit: Haha! Apparently, a bunch of Magatards spent thousands of dollars on travel and hotel...only for it to be cancelled. The lesson about Trump that we've all learned, except for Maga.

The final weekend of America as we knew it.

Monday we become an Authoritarian country. The ChristoFacists also plan to turn us into a Christian Facist country. Finally, Trump will do his best impersonation of being a Dictator. Will he full on emulate his heroes like Putin and Un?

Enjoy our last weekend of America and prepare for the hell to come.

I am in "prepared spectator" mode, and of course I've done a lot of processing on so many aspects of recent events. He's outdone even himself with the cabinet nominations. And the GOP seems to be 99.9% magaland now. I would have preferred all things trump/maga had occured after my time on this mortal coil but here we are. That said, I am able to still fully embrace, and focus on, the non-politics aspects of life, like this new era of Commanders football

, and am def devoted to those activities.

MAGA is already defending him. These people can't be reasoned with.

You wait and see. Anything bad that happens won't be his fault...he'll have been set up to fail, he inherited a mess, etc.

MAGA is already defending him. These people can't be reasoned with.

I haven't seen a lot of Maga defending him, I've seen a lot ask him to NOT do some of his promises. I've seen get mad at broken promises, but not a lot of defending...not online though.

Even so, they can lick his nuts all they want, as long as they suffer like the rest of us.

I don't feel the need to tell anyone I told you so...but in the two weeks leading up to the election, I had a distinct feeling that Trump was going to win...or at the very least, it was going to be very, very close.

I exchanged some PMs on ES with Ferguson, I said something in the election thread and he wanted to know why I'd felt that way. In short, what I'd seen on Instagram from young people was absolutely shocking. For some reason, I'd also seen Charlie Kirk and Vivek debating college students on Youtube, watched some of those videos, the amount of kids wearing those MAGA hats was unbelievable.

I don't know how anyone "fights" Trump, at least not regular people like you and me. But like I said, I don't think MAGA is going to ever admit that Trump would screw anything up...they'll make excuse after excuse for him because, well, they already do. Covid wasn't his fault, his reaction to it wasn't his fault, etc, etc.

The MAGA cult is just so far gone, they literally think when they wake up on Tuesday morning they'll be in paradise. I see these assholes on Twitter literally counting down the days of the Biden administration like they're anticipating getting out of prison. Any semblance of rational thought left the station a long time ago.

So yeah, if Trump screws this up...they'll blame anyone and anything other than him. There's nothing he can do to ruin himself in their eyes. I'm firmly convinced.
