One reason we stopped even discussing the name change in any forum on OG ES was that fact, added to the reality that everyone was just repeating the same stuff ad infinitum and there was really nowhere for the topic to "go." It would just be an endlessly revolving crap fest.

But speaking just for myself, I was going to be more flexible on this here on ExComm and see how it went.

However, I just deleted a post where the author went overboard in indulging himself in expressing his sociopolitical views on the name change and saying "I'll probably be banned for this" at least twice before he made each additional political aspect he "needed to share."

Whenever someone says "I'll probably be banned for this..." and then goes ahead anyway I'm usually tempted to honor his effort at self-immolation for several reasons, but I didn't in this case. Nor will I name him as he's not had any other missteps here.

But for however long this thread is open, I strongly encourage everyone to kindly use real effort to avoid all the political angles or at the least keep it to the absolute minimum.

Just found this website after being on Extremeskins web site for a long time. I recall the old web site went dark during the playoffs last year. Can you tell me when this new web site was created and made available to users? So glad to reconnect again. I found a comment from someone on Reddit today.
