Per Field Yates (ESPN) -

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

As the Commanders look to surround Jayden Daniels with more playmakers, they could tap back into the Ohio State receiver pipeline to pair Terry McLaurin with Egbuka, who leaves Columbus with the most catches in school history (205). Egbuka is among the most ready-made prospects in this class, as he features pristine route running, reliable hands and a selflessness as a blocker that the Commanders would undoubtedly love. He caught 10 touchdowns for the Buckeyes this season.

Per Fox Sports

29. Washington Commanders: Mike Green, Edge, Marshall

With veterans Dante Fowler and Dorance Armstrong each pending free agents, the Commanders were likely already looking to boost their pass rush this offseason, but Philadelphia’s big win will have NFC East divisional opponents especially eager to follow suit. Head coach Dan Quinn cut his coaching teeth working on the defensive line, and he could become enamored with the burst, bend and production from Green, who eased concerns about his level of competition with a stellar showing in Mobile.
Good history of defenders named Mike Green in D.C. :)

I hope not.

Solid college receiver but he doesn't have a "super power" so to speak.

The WR class is like that this year. Its deep but filled with guys who look like future WR2s and 3s. Its underwhelming compared to the last few years where you had studs on top of studs.

Putting it this way: Brian Thomas jr was WR4 last year and would easily be WR1 this year and probably a top 5 pick.

The Edge class is growing on me for sure. A good one should be available at 29 between Green, Pearce jr, or Stewart.

Oh man, what a beautiful sight to see you guys in here talking about the draft. I have missed this so much. I've been watching some college ball and formulating takes too. Some early ones:

- I think the best linebacker in the class is Jay Higgins. He's getting mocked very late relative to his quality, and I think he feels like a massive value pick in rounds three or four. I think this guy is our eventual Bobby Wagner replacement.

- I love Donovan Ezeiruaku too. He's short, but he can convert speed to power and he's got a full rush repertoire and elite pursuit speed for an edge. I'm seeing him mocked in the mid second, but I think he's got value at 27. What I'd love to see Peters do is trade down from our spot at 27 and pick up two early seconds and snag both Watts and Ezeiruaku.
Agreed on seeing everyone again especially this time of the year!

I am a big Eze fan as well. I think your trade back idea makes a lot of sense if guys like Pearce Jr and Green, or a surprise OL drop are there at 27. Those two would be great fits in my eye to get at the QB. I do like a bunch of players between 27 and the 3rd round so an extra pick in there would be welcomed also. I imagine AP is thinking that as well based on his history.

I am with on liking Higgins as well. Matching and McGee with Luvu, maybe Wagner and/or whoever else they add would again make our LB corp incredible compared to all these prior years of neglect. I do wish he was a little faster but he has all the traits of the Commander Way.

There are a bunch of defensive players I like at most positions in this range, especially DB's and DT's. Offensively I am hoping they grab a OT/OG and one of those Ohio State RBs day two.

Looking ahead to the draft, there are two real intriguing items:
1. The cap space moving into FA. How will roster holes be addressed prior to the draft with all that money! It is going to be nice filling spaces and allowing AP more of a BPA draft situation.
2. There are a bunch of really good players that are injured currently or just returning from injury. How will they grade out and when will they be drafted.

Can't wait to hear your OL breakdowns
