Saints are still way over the cap, wouldn't mind seeing if we can steal Kamara away. He can still be a game breaker.

so far those being discussed are Myles Garret, Deebo Samuel and DK Metcalf.
Deebo was so last year. My sense on twitter is that Deebo would be a snyder desperation move.

Garret is a bit older than what I'd like to get in Defensive end, but if we don't have to give up a housing complex to get him I'd consider that.

Micah Parsons would be tempting to some, but which positions is trading a great idea? Which are free agent, and which should we lean on the draft?

What are our biggest needs?

Some thing Defensive End, some think Corner back, or WR 2.

Acording to Sports Trac the following Running backs might be free agents in the season:
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents ... osition/rb

Aaron Jones 30.2
Najee Harris (steelers?) 26.9
Jeff Wilson 29.2
AJ Dillon 26.8
NIck Chub 29.1
Javonte Williams 24.8

Way down th list theyh had
Cam Akers 25.6

Chubb is an interesting back, but I'm not sure what we

McNichols is a FA from us as is Rodriguez Jr So we could sign a FA and draft someone in theory

AT Wide Receiver
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents ... ract_value

Stefon Diggsd - 31.2 (probablyh too old)
Tee Higgins at 26 has had people gushing over him since before season started
Chris Godwin is 28.9
Mike Williams 30.3
Diontae Johnson 28.6
Darius Slayton 28
DJ Chark 28.3

We are losing (barring resigning)
Crowder, Zaccheaus, Dyami and Noah Brown also KJ Osborn (don't think he got any snaps)

Some out there possibilities would be:
Mecole Hardman 26.8
Ben Skowronek 27.6
Terrace Marshall 24.7
Jalen Raegpr 26.7

Tight End, Ertz is 34.2 But would take him back but not over pay for him. I'm not sure we'd sign any other 30 year old if Ertz is back

I did not realize that Bates is a Free Agent also, so maybe we need someone to fill that slot if we don't resign.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents ... ract_value
Tyler Conklin 29.5
Juwan Johnson 28.3
Mo Allie-Cox 3.3
Harrison Bryant: 26.8
Pharoah Brown 30.8
Austin Hooper 30.2
Mike Gesecki 29.3
Marcedes-Lewis 40.7 (eh no)
Kenny Yeboah 26.2
Ian Thomas 28.7

Hunter Long 26.4
Tommy Tremble 24.7
Irv Smith 26.5
Josiah Deguara 27.9

The only way I trade for Garrett is if I think I can pick up a cheap baller DT, Trade JA to recoup picks, Need a Corner, might be able to suffer through a FA or mid to laate round Backer crop. Would love to keep Luvu and Wagner not sure we will.

Offense can find WR/TE and possiblyh one OL signing Would be my guess.

I think we can spend money, but we need to make sure we get guys that are going to be here for length of contracft while draft picks are groomed to replace in 3 years.

Things to think about on OL

Trenton Scott filled in down the stretch is a Free agent as is Cornelius Lucas

So if neither are in the picture, who do you bring in?
None of the LT names jumped out at me.

Some Guard names that jumped out at me:

Zack Martin 34.2 (was injured last year right?) Doubt dallas can resign him
Brandon Scherff 33.1
James Danielss 27.3
Meckhi Becton 25.38 (Philly)
Jon Feliciano
Nate Herbig 26.6
Dalton Risner 29.5

There is a long list of Free agent guards I'm not familiar with all the names

Now some FA names that might be worth considering:
Edge
We are Losing Clelin Ferrel
Dante Fowler Jr
Mykal Walker (don't remember him)
Jayln Holmes
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents ... ract_value

Khalil Mack 33.9 (OLB)
Haason Reddick 30.3
Matt Judon 32.4
Demarcus Laweerence 32.8 (If Dallas does not resign him, could he be an upgrade for us?)
Josh Sweat 27.8 played HAvoc in the Super bowl last night
Chase Young 25.8 he is young, But if Adam Peters doesn't think he's worth a second sniff at the Commanders I'd trust him
Charles Omenihu 27.4
Jerome Baker (OLB) 2.8.1
Marcus Davenport 28.4 (was with detroit)
Kyzir White OLB 228.8
Brandon Graham at 36.8 might be retiring after that super bowl

We likely sign at least one if not 2 DE cause odds are we don't get 2 in the Draft

PFF had an article about 25 edge defenders

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2025-free- ... -defenders in January

If we don't have a way to do an offset to get Myles Garrett I'd love to make a run at Josh Sweat

Keep in mind maximum cap spaces:

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/_/year/ ... imum_space

Philly for instance has around 24.496 Million in Capspace (not sure if they lose any from incentives from the Super Bowl.

New England has 122 million that's just nuts

Las Vegas has 92 Mil and then us.

Deebo's entire game is is his combination of physicality and quickness/shiftiness. He has no nuance to his game so as he physically declines, his game will drop off significantly. I can't see us trading for him. He's one of those guys you draft in the mid rounds, burn out, and then discard. He's worthless once he hits that 28+ first decline.

Jets are letting Rodgers go, so maybe Garrett Wilson will request a trade? He'd be an awesome get, but its not super likely. Jets are probably just gonna commit to a full rebuild and keep a young talent like Wilson around, but you never know.

Only way I see Jerry trading Parsons is for a kings ransom. No way that happens.

Garrett would be nice but I wouldn't give up multiple firsts for anyone in the league.

I'd be planning on going after Micah Parsons. He's volatile but he's a known scheme fit and I absolutely think he'll have interest in rejoining Dan Quinn if he hits free agency.

I'd try and swing a trade for Travis Etienne. That feels like a buy low opportunity heading into the final year of his rookie deal.
There is 0 chance Dallas trades Micah Parsons unless Jerruh hires the Mavs GM or something.
I bet they've already made plans and schemed up scenarios for it. His contract negotiation is going to be the wort one yet for them.

To trade him? Doubt it. Say what you will about Jerruh but he knows how to take care of his stars. His problem is he waits till the last second to extend em, effing him over in FA. But he always takes care of em.

Parsons grew up a Cowboys fan and he's big into his brand and off the field stuff and being a Cowboy raises his national profile. He's not going anywhere.
