We picked up cb Jonathan Jones (nine yrs on patriots) in what may be another "budget friendly solid vet at a need area" deals. Guys been steady and versatile over time.

From what I've seen, he's very popular in NE as a person and player. So at bare minimum it looks like we got a solid player who's also a great culture addition.Jumbo wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 3:24 pmWe picked up cb Jonathan Jones (nine yrs on patriots) in what may be another "budget friendly solid vet at a need area" deals. I think Kupp would have been a good addition, but I'm assuming we weren't especially into giving him a multi-year deal right now, given his injury history. I'm sure we kicked the tires, though. Seems like we may be more or less done with WR after trading for Deebo and re-signing Noah Brown. But damn if that receiver room doesn't still look a bit anemic.SkinsGuy wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 7:03 pmKupp is off the table. He signed with Seattle.
