I have rarely endorsed giving a huge trade bounty for any single player. The instances I've seen it really work out are very rare. Once we get into two number ones, and especially if there's more assets beyond that, I pull back. One significant factor in my resistance is the fact that such players also take big bites out of the salary cap year after year.

Myles is at that level where you have to consider it, but I still prefer to build a roster more evenly across the board and make less spectacularly costly single player gains.

But in this case he is a true game wrecker who's not too old so I'd want to see what the price might be.

I hope the browns just refuse to trade him and make the temptation go away.😁

Garrett would be nice but I wouldn't give up multiple firsts for anyone in the league.

I'd be planning on going after Micah Parsons. He's volatile but he's a known scheme fit and I absolutely think he'll have interest in rejoining Dan Quinn if he hits free agency.

I'd try and swing a trade for Travis Etienne. That feels like a buy low opportunity heading into the final year of his rookie deal.
There is 0 chance Dallas trades Micah Parsons unless Jerruh hires the Mavs GM or something.

I don't see many true blue chip impact players in FA outside of Higgins. I don't think Trey Smith is in the works for us since we already spent big money to resign Cosmi and just signed Biadasz and Allagretti last offseason (my bet is we start drafting some OL in the mid rounds to set up our pipeline this year).

Not a free agent, of course, but Deebo Samuel has been granted permission to seek a trade. His 2025 salary would be $17,750,000 compared to Cooper Kupp's at 20,000,000. Anyone interested? How much is it likely to take to get him in a trade? AP knows the man well. Hmmmmm.

I think he's declining from a physical standpoint.

The guy I'm interested in (should he become available) is DK Metcalf.

Edit: I just saw the Seahawks are indeed listening to offers for Metcalf.

I feel like every player being discussed is not a FA, lol. Maybe we need a potential trade for thread.

The Trade For Player thread.

Cobra commander is right, we need a thread for potential players being traded for.

Whether we trade for a player or we trade a player.

so far those being discussed are Myles Garret, Deebo Samuel and DK Metcalf.

If I had to chose i'd want Myles or DK. I'm not sold on Deebo, i feel like they ran him into the ground. DK is also 2 years younger and I feel like he would complement Terry. That said Deebo is a threat as a runner and with the triple option this is intriguing.

We've already traded for Lattimore. I feel like we can really only add one more before we basically blow up our ability to draft BPA.

I would low ball all teams and if we get 1 player for a song, its a win.
