Great season, everybody.

Bummer way to end it, but Washington way WAY exceeded expectations this season.

With Jayden Daniels and the set up Washington has, the future is very bright.

Oh well, great season overall!! We survived the bastards that shut down ES. This place will be up to full song by next year! Glad to be here and hope to see more regulars show up!! This feels like simulated/forum home again! Hail!!
Glad to have everyone. Keeping everyone throughout the off season is gonna be tough but I got some updates instore that will make if feel more like our old home and hopefully there is a critical mass that will help the other sections of the boards stay active enough while we wait for the draft!
Still willing to help with anything you need. PM me

Free agency first.

It was definitely the most enjoyable season we've had in a very, very long time. The RGKnee run was nice, but it always felt a bit like fools gold given that he clearly was underdeveloped as a passer. However, JD5 is the real deal. Even so, we obviously have got to get a LOT more talent on this team if we're expecting to run with the big boys.

I also question whether Kingsbury is the long-term answer at OC for us. There's no question he did excellent work developing Jaden and bringing him along. However, too often, the offense seemed to amount to Jaden's runs and little more. In fairness to Kingsbury, the offense suffered from the same lack of overall talent that the defense did, so he just may not have been able to run a lot of the stuff he might have wanted to.

Regardless, the future is bright for us folks. I can't wait to see how we fare next year against a tougher schedule.

We've got a tougher schedule, but not a first place schedule.

I'm not sure what they think of Brown, especially after today...but free agency is right around the corner. I'd love to get another WR for Daniels and pick up a home run hitting running back in the draft. I like Robinson but I think he lacks vision and if he ever gets to the open field he can't take it to the house.

It was a different era, but reminds of what Parcells said about what happened after they got shellacked in the playoffs by the 85 Bears. Bill said he was feeling down on the plane home, and one of his confidants simply said "thats a really good team. You gotta figure out a way to beat them."

And the Giants won it all the next year. It helped that the Skins knocked off the Bears.

The opening play for the Eagles offense set the tone. I was very disappointed that we weren't able to prepare or stop that run. After that it was all downhill.

Clearly the turnovers were the difference. Just stupid careless lack of control. And I never blame the refs, but that clear hold of Luvu by Barkley on the 4th down was a huge momentum swing. We probably lose anyway, but I didn't like that one.

We have a chance to build on this. Proud of the guys for an excellent season.

Disappointing, frustrating and annoying way to end an enjoyable season. This team gave me the most happiness I’ve felt since 2012, but what the team did this year actually feels sustainable.

The difference in talent level was just staggering. Their lines drive people back while ours get driven back. Our receivers don't get open and there's get wide open regularly. Our defenders miss tackles and take bad angles while there's can punch the ball out seemingly at will. It was just painfully obvious and the only reason we were in it even as long as we were was because our QB is a true superstar and can elevate the team.

If we didn't fumble three times its probably still a loss but more in the 10-14 point range because we simply couldn't stop them and our offense was not explosive at all and difficult to sustain 10+ play drives consistently for points.

Agreed, Warhead. And with a young team like ours, no matter the resilience of Jayden and Terry, psychology and momentum are critically linked. After that nice opening drive, to go from Saquon's opening TD to the first fumble, it's hard to recover from that.

Future looks bright, though. I'm grateful and happy.
