At that price I'd have rather kept him then signed Kinlaw. Allen is a much better and more proven player and was a team leader. The only thing Kinlaw has on Allen is age.88Commanders00 wrote: Tue Mar 11, 2025 9:14 amAllen signed a 3 year/60 million dollar deal with Vikings. Good for him.

Could he be a better scheme fit? Adam Peters isn’t acting alone, maybe there’s something that Whitt likes about him over Allen. Time will tell.Warhead36 wrote: Tue Mar 11, 2025 11:11 amAt that price I'd have rather kept him then signed Kinlaw. Allen is a much better and more proven player and was a team leader. Age is a big factor. Allen is coming off injury and hasn’t been as productive as of late, Kinlaw apparently just had his best season and costs about 10M per less… and he or Allen would be a rotational piece…
Payne and Newton are the future and Payne at $26M per is on thin ice… pretty sure they wanna get more stout across the front… I like the move!
Edit: also, money is getting tight considering we still have maybe 55 players signed; have to get to 90 and we have a ton of holes to fill… edge, corner, 3 receivers, interior OL, SAFETY! We’re sub 40M with 4 draft picks left!

I'm old. I'm a "Hogs Forever" guy. Of course I'm in awe of Sweetness and Sanders. But my heart really goes to the Jim Brown /John Riggins/Larry Csonka/Christian Okoye bruiser backs. I even love fullbacks.
So let's get Kyle Juszyzck!! Championship!!!
(I will just be here in the corner awaiting my entirely deserved public flogging)

If he can catch passes and be used as a triple option threat then sign me up.Jumbo wrote: Tue Mar 11, 2025 11:59 amI'm old. I'm a "Hogs Forever" guy. Of course I'm in awe of Sweetness and Sanders. Seems like an upgrade. I wasn't a Chinn fan. He seemed to miss tackles on runs or was out of position to make the play. I guess time will tell...
