The Lions are top tier, nobody is denying that. I am at peace coming into this one because nobody expects us to win.
That being said I think we can surprise them if our defense can hold up in any capacity. A couple of stops, a couple of turnovers and for pete's sake no stupid penalties - if you can couple that with sustained drives resulting in touchdowns we might have something.
For us there seems to be a sliver of a team of destiny thing going on, most notably with the hail mary and the doink but there has been additional last second heroics. That all creates belief and sometimes that is all you need.
Thinking about Eagles-Rams there is a narrative as well. With the fires going on in LA you might see the Rams put the city on their back and come out swinging. Consider the post Katrina New Orleans success if I am remembering correctly. Anything can happen in these games.
Saturday night second round playoff football is something we have not seen in a long, long time. Going to enjoy it.
Coleman has had some real good moments though. He locked down guys like Brian Burns and Myles Garrett and held his own against Trey Hendrickson. I think he might be carrying some kind of injury. My guess is the team still wants him to be the LT of the future but might bring in some competition in 2025.

Hey everyone! Great to see PeterMP and so many other beloved ES'ers in a new gathering place.
There are so many things I miss about es, but as I'm sure many of you felt, it was so ironic that a season comes along full of so much success (even great media coverage) and promise for the future after so many years of fail and that's the time we lose our diehard forum.
But thanks to some of you, we have this now. Great work guys!
