Joined ES in 2005. Mostly lurked. Posted once in a great while (years in between posts lol) under Learned Hand. Detest the Reddit format. Glad this is up so I can lurk here.

I thought about it, that's where I would've put it.

There are somethings I hope we pull from there (the screen snowed on Christmas day), but it's a different site for a reason.

My hope is we be careful repeating history here...ES was dominated by the Tailgate at the end and thus barely a football site anymore. We'd only be safer here because some corporation isn't trying to deny we're a subsidiary under them.

The political section in Tailgate was busy for obvious reasons. But there were still a ton of daily posters on the football threads. That's what I liked the best about ES, just so much action you almost always had something new when you came back.

But I'm a big fan of BGO. They could not have been more welcoming and since the election I have decided to remove myself from politics so don't miss it.
