Brave just posted in the Around the League forum's trade thread that DJ Metcalf is on the block.
I've really liked that for a long time. Living in SW Washington for years I see most Seahawks games when I want to. He's aged a bit but he's still a very potent weapon.
Deebo has a similar physicality to him but they're different receivers. DJ can stretch the field pretty good even if he's not a Greyhound/burner type but he is fast enough and big and his strength is great for shaking tackles and taking the ball in any contested catch.
I'm a bit surprised they're putting Metcalf on the block after Deebo only netted a 5th round pick. Metcalf is a bit younger than Deebo at 27, but he also only had a decent but not great season last year so I doubt they're under the illusion that they'll get a huge haul for him.
I'd probably give up a 3rd for him, but might be talked into a 2nd.

Now that Jags released Christian Kirk, will Kliff want to reunite within him ?
If the Niners trade Aiyuk too then that's a pretty bold move, as they'd be getting rid of their two biggest receiving threats. They either believe that they can replace them in the draft or that Purdy can survive with a good OL and McCaffrey.

A 1st + 3rd round pick and a $30 million/year top 5 contract for a WR who isn't even a top 10 guy?
