Gotta think its either the Commanders or the Lions that will open in Philly the first Thursday night game.

Only halftime, but the Eagles look dominant. Should be fun trying to overtake these guys next season.

#1 - Lions- rematch of playoff game, except we are hosting.
#2 - Eagles- rematch of NFC Championship
#3- Cowboys - They shouldn’t get this, especially given their 24 record. Jerry will be lobbying and You know NFL likes Boys in national games.
#4 - Broncos - a battle between Jayden and Bo; 2 rookie QBs who made playoffs
I like thw ay you are thinking.

I think #1 Lions would be a great Opening week game. What would it be like with both teams not having injuries?>

#2 Eagles would be a great first Monday Night game

#4 Broncos would be a good week 3 game after people have warmed up to NFl in full swing

Cowboys could go anywhere.

The opening game is a ratings monster no matter what the matchup is, so its not likely the league burns an NFC East game in that spot when they can use that to generate ratings later in the year. Rams or Lions are the more likely matchup.

Lions seems the likely option, the nfc championship that never was.

IMO, the Rams are best option for Week 1 since it was the closest game that Philly had in the playoffs. The Lions are probably 2nd and this team as the 3rd option

Supposedly, we might be playing the Brazil game on opening week (I figure that Friday). The Chargers are the home team, and they won't schedule divisional games for international venues. Philly will host the opener, so they are out as an opponent. That leaves...

Houston (our competition)
Indy (no way)
Pittsburgh (solid pick, but who is the QB)
Minnesota (could see it, but not as big of a draw as we are in terms of QB)
Washington

I figure it is between us and Houston for that opener. I actually think we get that spot and will play in Brazil on week 1.

It can't be Pittsburgh or Indianapolis. They have games already scheduled in Dublin and Berlin respectively. Minnesota played in London last year so they won't be going back.

Its us or Houston and the rumors are Houston could be playing a game in Mexico City...

Yeah, you are right. Rumors are that Pittsburgh plays a game in Ireland and the Colts have that Germany game, so it is down to us, Minnesota, or Houston. I actually think we do play in Brazil on opening week. I figure we will have 5.

Opening week against Chargers
Home against Philly (SNF)
At KC (SNF)
Home against Bears (MNF)
At Atlanta (DQ return game)

Commanders @ Chargers in Brazil
Commanders @ Dolphins in Spain

I say NFL should give us one of those. Jayden showcases his skills internationally.

That would really piss me off. I missed going to SoFi 2023 season, because I woke up Sunday morning with a 103 degree fever. So this coming season, I’ve got SoFi written in pen on my calendar.
