I looked it up and that was released in 1978. Maybe I was confusing it with the Four Seasons original from 1966 but assumed that the Spinners were WAY earlier than ‘78. That was two years AFTER the Sex Pistols and Anarchy in The UK

Spinners were cooking 60's/70's mostly. More recently their classics got a big boost when "Rubber Band Man" was featured by Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.
BTW, never confuse The Four Seasons (with or without Frankie Valli) with the The Four Tops or the ghosts of Little Richard and Johnny Rotten will take your soul to hell.
(And don't mention the Four Freshman for any reason, ever)
