I definitely like Hampton. He's got great patience and vision, is plenty fast for his size, and has elite contact balance. He's definitely more of a north/south downhill runner though, and one area I'm a bit iffy is that he doesn't seem to have much lateral wiggle and agility in the open field. He won't be breaking ankles in the NFL. That's not the end of the world but I think it makes him much less of a home run threat.

Watched a bit more of Omarion. He has enough speed to take it to the house for a big run Barkley style if you give him some daylight, see the N. Carolina State game.

He has one of the highest break tackle ratings in this group, elusive score of 127. 70 tackles broken one of the highest scores in this group.

26 15 plus runs, one of the highest rates in this group.

Really fun to watch as a pass blocker. Very good pass blocker. Arguably none of our guys right now are good pass blockers. Inconsistent at best Ekeler and Robinson on that front.

Really good hands -- pass weapon.

He would change this running game IMO.

I am fascinated to see what he and Kaleb run. I might be surprised on the downside. But to my eyes they are plenty fast enough for backs that size.

I don't agree with some of the comps some use with him. He's a complete back IMO.

SIP, mhd, and DWinzit are all here!? The gang is getting back together. Now we've gotta get KDawg back and find KB. A good bunch of us have made our way here, but there are a bunch of regulars still missing. It really sucks that we can't go back and look at the old draft threads so we can see a record of the names of the regulars there to help track them down.

I went searching for you SIP when I found out that ES had been started back up. I thought I found you in the Commanders discord channel, but I'd be kind of surprised if that was you. I tried posting in the Discord draft channel maybe like two times, and let's just say the discussion wasn't as substantive and rewarding as our conversations on ES have been.
He's been posting on BGObsession.com, it's where he's put his Next Day Threads. A lot of ESers went over there and might be staying? Unclear. I only just found out ES has a spiritual successor.
Maybe pm him and let him know about this place? 👹😁 Be awesome to get him and any other esers to post here too.
Apparently, they ban people for doing that.

I know from personal experience. 🤦‍♂️

Sad and seems pretty hypocritical. A good chunk of the original mod staff started that site by culling select longtime ESers surreptitiously via pm.

They wanted to monetize their website efforts if possible and wanted separation from being "under" the team.

They used pm and didn't openly address the membership with the idea and at the time. They even kept it from some of the rest of our mod group: PCS, TK and I weren't told (not sure if Mark the Homer knew).

There also had been a lot of serious clashes between Art and Om and several other mods who left to start the site, so Art wasn't part of the move.

Not sure why blade or die hard didn't seem to be that involved with the move, don't much about that aspect other than die hard ended up posting on old es for quite awhile before the end. He was a real favorite of mine.

Btw, Just for grins, and because of the "colorful" nature of the content, I kept a bunch of mod staff group email conversations over several years from our Google email account and will someday maybe "publish" them for their entertainment value to the small demographic of ES veterans as a very very revealing look into those characters. 😁👹💩

Think "Housewives of ES" 😝

But basically PCS, TK, and I (and maybe Mark the Homer) were blindsided and really taken aback. bu

But we continued running and evolving the o.g. site and ES was a great forum until the end.

We even maintained a very fine tailgate forum that included many epic long running topic thread and even multiple political threads but only allowing reasonable, intelligent, discussion with zero tolerance for trolling or baiting and demanding good sources for statements made as facts, all guided by applying solid moderation based on a newly rewritten body of excellently constructed rules and guidelines.

And we kept the football forum 100% strictly football.

My apologies for the off topic divergence in this response to Brave. Back to our regular programming. 🙂👍

Send a pm for doing that and banning them is stupid.

I know posting a thread about a competitor’s site would be frowned but just for mentioning something in a pm:

Yeah, I was told it was against the rules.

I simply contacted TWO ESers via pm and informed them about the new site.

Nothing more...

I like Hampton a lot, but I'd prefer Henderson for the home run capabilities. But Hampton in a backfield with Daniels is basically 2nd and 6 every time and there is value to that. I wouldn't mind either.
