This game is trash. I watch on the smaller tv while I usually play Xbox or something. I wish I had a smaller tv to put this shitty team on. Thompson doesn't need to be in front of the net unless there is an injury, he sucks.

Noticed this was posted at 6:49 but the game didn’t start until 7. Is that a glitch with the site or something?

Side note: #892 for ovi!!!

Glitch. I missed Ovi's goal, I turned it off once it hit 0 - 4. I'm not wasting my time watching that.

You remind me of my wife. She doesn't watch much sports, when she did I told her that Derik Queen was really good. She sees him miss 2 shots and said "he doesn't look so good to me". It's best to evaluate a player based on his entire body of work for the year, not just what you saw last. And Logan Thompson has been great this year.

I have a very "knee jerk" reaction when I'm watching sports, think all of the anger/confusion/sadness of a gameday thread. The only difference between hockey and football is that I have very little knowledge of hockey. I've been watching the Caps in the playoffs since they've won the Cup, but thats about it. Like you, once they're done, I'm done.

I know that I've only seen two games (technically, 1.5 games) of Thompson, way too little to make a judgement, even if I had the knowledge to make such assessments. I'm just an armchair coach, saying people suck at hockey when I don't think I've ever even hit a hockey puck.

I could never turn off a Caps game with Ovi on the chase. I really want it to happen before the end of the year so they can refocus on the playoffs.

Well at least we have tied the game. If Ovi was a little closer to the net he could have tapped that puck in as it was going in anyway.
