He gone*.

Sorry, I know that losing a good coach to an inferior program sucks.

You’ve posted a few times now that he is a “snake” and “lying”, but haven’t given any instances of these claims.

Willard has not handled this well, but he has to think about his career. If you were getting jerked around by your administration, and another institution came to you with a better deal, and assurances that you would get what you want, I believe most would move on.

Facts are that the football program has been receiving almost 5 times more NIL monies than the basketball program during Willard’s time there. Evans and Locksley are buddy-buddy, and Locks gets what he wants. Locksley has been quoted as saying exactly that. Evans isn’t solely at fault, as the full administration, from president to trustees, have not been performing for the whole of the university, imo.

This is a stain on Maryland that may take some time to clean away. I think laying it at the feet of the whistleblower is misplaced.

When you "allegedly" had contact/accepted the Villanova job weeks ago while telling players, staff, boosters etc you were staying, when you've been recruiting for Villanova for weeks "allegedly", when your agent and the administration negotiate an agreement in writing giving you what asked for and then you proceed to start moving the goal posts.....

Thats why I referred to him as a snake.

Moving on to another job isn't the issue. Not being a professional is.
