Luka traded to Lakers for AD and doughnuts.

I'm convinced Mavericks are switching gears to tank and move to Vegas.

Their fans are is going through it on Reddit...this is shameful by Dallas...generational dumbfuck move...

Pretty sure Luka took the donuts with him.

Mavs are betting that his body is gonna break down and he'll never get right with his conditioning, is what this trade is.

It's fascinating. Luka is one of those guys that can look puffy and out of shape but still drop 25-30 a night.

It's not like the Mavs got back an Iron Man, either. Davis is Mr. Glass.

I don't understand this trade but it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. The NBA has the best trade/free agent season of the three major sports leagues, hands down. Nothing this wild happens in MLB/NFL.

He reminds me of Kyle Lowry who even my Wife said that cat look fat but kept punkin my Wizards back in the day.

I'm at the "not suprised by the worst intentions" way of looking at this Mavs fans are having, they know that situation better then me and dropping their Fandom in droves.

Even if I back off and let their rage calm down to keep the conversation honest, only telling the Lakers versus reaching out to any other team is fishy AF. I can't imagine the bidding war if it was made known Luka was available for trade.

The bidding war for Luka would have been insane. I'm not sure why the Mavs didn't go that route...I'm assuming they didn't want it to be long and drawn out...and if they didn't deal him at the deadline, then the speculation hangs over Luka's head and the Mavs head about how long he'll be there, when'll they trade him, etc...witness Jimmy Butler in Miami right now. Now that's a worst case scenario, but no one wants to start heading down that road.

The Mavs GM really thinks Davis was the guy to get, they needed a rim protector and defense. If Davis was a healthy player, I might buy it but he's always hurt. If they get back to the finals this year, was it worth it?

Lakers trade for Mark Williams rescinded because Hornets, "failure to satisfy a condition of the trade." What condition? Williams was the only piece of the trade on their part.
