So I finally got around to watching the movie after listening to the audiobook. As expected, the book was much better. I’d give the movie a C-. They changed too much of the plot that made the book enjoyable and somewhat thought provoking. Granted, I’d give the book a B, but it’s still way better. The Evil Genius wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 8:19 pmMickey7 was a solid read. Haven't seen the movie but I quite enjoyed the book. The Sisko wrote: Sun Mar 23, 2025 8:14 pmCoincidentally I put the book this movie must have been adapted from in my hold list at the library yesterday. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s better than you thought the movie was. Thats assuming I get it in my lifetime. I’m 14th on the waitlist.88Commanders00 wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 9:10 am
That was a good movie.
I saw “In the Lost Lands” with Mila Jovovich and David Bautista. Just an average movie. Gets a C.
Also saw “Mickey 17”, another average movie where this guy is hired to be an expendable. He gets experimented on and dies and gets reprinted but the 17th version of Mickey doesn’t die. Gets a C.
