The Canes forecheck and backcheck was very aggressive. The Caps were getting rid of the puck quickly because they knew it was coming. This creates alot of turnovers and inability to move the puck into their offensive zone.

The one thing we can do to disrupt is to lay down some big hits, ala Wilson.

That last game was one of the worst game I've watch the Caps play in a long time, makes me wonder about their true chance in this series. You can't lose game one at home because of slow, uninspired, sloppy play and instill confidence. They need to come out full of piss and vinegar and win this game to stay in the race.

Someone else pointed out to me: we played shit hockey and we still took them to OT. I'm not too optimistic, but we'll see.

Caps spending way too much time in their own zone defending. Need to figure shit out and get on the offense more.

If they haven't figured it out by now, I don't think they will. At least, not when it will matter.

True. They showed more on the PP but still not aggressive enough.

On another note: Wilson literally used his butt to save that goal :lol:
