The irony is off the charts:
LOYALTY DAY AND LAW DAY, U.S.A., 2025
A PROCLAMATION
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The rule of law is the capstone of our constitutional order and the crown jewel of the American way of life. Beginning with the ratification of the Constitution, people and nations near and far have looked to the United States as a guiding light of liberty and justice. As our Nation commemorates Law Day, U.S.A., and Loyalty Day, we reaffirm our loyalty to the Constitution, and we renew our pledge to preserve and protect our glorious inheritance of fairness, equality, and freedom against all threats, foreign and domestic.
For centuries, the world has revered America for its devotion to the timeless principle of equal justice under the law. Tragically, in recent years, our constitutional heritage faced an existential threat from a political class that abandoned justice in favor of political retribution.

Trump, asked if he has to 'uphold the Constitution,' says, 'I don't know'
I guess his dementia addled brain can't remember the oath he took to "... faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The Libruhl media needs to stop blowing this stuff out of proportion. I mean, it's not like he wore a tan suit or something. Sheesh!

Donald Trump Vows 100% Tariff on All Movies Made Outside the US: ‘A National Security Threat’
Donald Trump on Sunday said he will impose a 100% tariff on “any and all” films made outside the United States.
“The Movie Industry in America is DYING a very fast death. Other Countries are offering all sorts of incentives to draw our filmmakers and studios away from the United States,” the president wrote on Truth Social Sunday.
“Hollywood, and many other areas within the U.S.A., are being devastated. This is a concerted effort by other Nations and, therefore, a National Security threat. It is, in addition to everything else, messaging and propaganda! Therefore, I am authorizing the Department of Commerce, and the United States Trade Representative, to immediately begin the process of instituting a 100% Tariff on any and all Movies coming into our Country that are produced in Foreign Lands. WE WANT MOVIES MADE IN AMERICA, AGAIN!”

Trump says he’ll reopen Alcatraz prison for ‘America’s most ruthless and violent Offenders’
President Donald Trump says he is directing his government to reopen and expand Alcatraz, the notorious former prison on a hard-to-reach California island off San Francisco that has been closed for more than 60 years.
In a post on his Truth Social site Sunday evening, Trump wrote that, “For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering. When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals, and keep them far away from anyone they could harm. That’s the way it’s supposed to be.”
“That is why, today,” he said, “I am directing the Bureau of Prisons, together with the Department of Justice, FBI, and Homeland Security, to reopen a substantially enlarged and rebuilt ALCATRAZ, to house America’s most ruthless and violent Offenders.”

Clearly he has no idea about what condition Alcatraz is currently in and how much it would cost to rebuild it. We can only hope that if he does rebuild it, that he becomes the first occupant.

The National Park Service runs Alcatraz. Has for over 50 years. Not the Bureau of Prisons. I'm curious if it can be shifted between the two without some type of legislation.
Not to mention that at the time it was used a prison, it was anywhere from 3-6x more expensive to run than other prisons. Or that it currently is a revenue generator for the Federal government as a tourist site.
