no... not the bikini thread. the biking thread.
Get your eyesight checked/mind out of the gutter (of course there is no reason a biking post can't be both 🤔)

the topic: those two wheel things (usually) that you power with your legs (usually.. but less and less usually).

There was a thread on the old ES (a moment of respective silence) about biking: Trails that you love, trials and tribulations, new equipment (again... NOT bikinis <necessarily>) ... whatever bike related.

I (re)started this thread in honor of "Yohan" (on es--- "Timmy" here> viewtopic.php?t=3&start=151).
all the references to bikinis pay homage to the fact that every couple of months in the old ES (moment of respectful silence) biking thread, somebody would admit to having only clicked on the thread because they thought it said bikini, not biking. i wanted to keep that disappointment flowing....

this is ALSO the week that i had to return to the office 5 days a week :(

the one upside: my wife has encouraged me to think of this as "two nice bike rides 5 days a week, with a nice shower and air-conditioned break in between.... "

Today is Friday, and i biked in 4 of the 5 days this week. my legs feel like two burning bags of rotten mashed potatoes.

Keep it up and you'll fit your bikini by June.

Wow, thanks for starting the "bikini" thread back up mcsluggo!

I am hoping to get on bike here this weekend or the first weekend of May for sure. Usually I am riding by now, but when it has been nice, it has either been windy or raining. I have been doing more Mountain/Fat Bike riding (trail riding) and don't want to put ruts in the trails because they are to wet.

Just an FYI, the naked bike ride in Milwaukee is June 28.

Philly is a 5 hour round trip drive.... my wife thinks I'm nuts for doing it.
Milwaukee is 25 hours round-trip

(on the other hand... it makes 17 hours round trip to toronto seem downright reasonable :D )
