Listening to Keim on Sheehan. And combining that with another radio appearance from him. If past is prologue its always relevant which names he brings up regardless of context.

Keim covers all basis and provides disclaimers that he doesn't know for sure and anything is possible. So he doesn't throw any of this around definitively or arrogantly. But if the past is prologue, what Keim is hearing has at least some relevance. Not 100% but some of it tends to go down at a minimum.

A. They want Pass rush, CB, RB. And #4 would be O line. BPA but those are their preferred spots. The pass rush can come from another spot like DT doesn't have to be edge

B. He's hinted now in multiple appearances -- he suspects Ezeiruaku, Green would be their top desires at edge. He knows some interest in Scourton, Landon Jackson. in another segment he mentioned JT and Oladejo later in the 2nd. He mentioned Stewart in a previous segment but didn't talk about him much this time.

C. In a radio appearance he again brought up Derrick Harmon. He's been brought up too many times randomly for me to think he hasn't heard something as to some interest

D. CB: Hairston, Barron, Amos. He suspects Barron is gone.

E. RB: he suspects they take one later in the draft versus early but he's not sure. Mentioned again Henderson and Tuten among some others including Kaleb Johnson.

F. He knows they want to fortify the O line. Mentioned Booker again. This team wants to build a strong O line.

Wish I knew if we were gonna move down. I want to avoid getting obsessed with some guy the board loves like Cooper Dejean last year (and the board was clearly right) only to see us trade down, and we draft god knows who.

B: I've heard Green has some horrific off field ----. Is that not gonna drop him potentially? The Ez guy is nice, but I'd rather get a cheaper Edge later, there are a bunch of guys I like that Brugler projected in that 30-80 area. I'm a bit less enamoured with Jackson, although he's apparently a fantastic locker room guy and I really like that he's done an elite job two years in a row.

C. Harmon sounds really damn impressive, but man, 4 DT's* taken in round 1 between 2017-2025 is pretty insane (technically last year's dude we snagged in round 2, despite his top 10-20ish grade because of the feet).

D. Pretty uncomfortable with Hairston what do you guys think? I really like what I've heard about Barron and Amos (and some others I've heard mentioned).

E. Who are the others. Considering draft capital cost, I'm not really interested in moving up for Harrison, or taking Kaleb ahead of DL/DB help. Tuten would seem like a satellite rather than a bell cow?

F. We can't really take care of the OL and all these other things, I've also heard if you want OL help you have to get it early as there isn't as much depth as typical?

I like Hairston a lot. Can play zone and man. Speed. Feisty as heck. Great change of direction. Ball skills. Meh against the run but he played with a shoulder injury last year that hampered him.

I like corners who play with confidence and swagger and this guy does big time so. Great interview too -- funny, full of confidence, seems like a student of the game. 4.28 40, 39.5 vertical.

He has some things to clean up. But if he didn't, he'd go top 10 with his measurables. He's bulked up to 194 while keeping his speed.

If you got some time, can you take a look at Tyler Booker? I watched one game and I'll dive in some more. But you came at the O lineman sometimes more cynically than I do -- in a good way which I think helps with this evaluation.

I know the anayltic types don't like the dude mainly because of his bad RAS score. So he would drive someone like @The Consigliere crazy.

But in the game I watched, he anchored really well. He has tackle sized arms, supersized hands -- he actually played some LT. I think the idea with him is he would be a wall in pass protect at LT especially against big DTs like Dexter Lawrence.

Balance issues. And doesn't have the footspeed to motor to that 2nd level. But does maul guys at times and sustain blocks well IMO. I think his superpower is using his girth -- size, hands, arms to envelop opponents. Run game -- gap scheme.

As a dude, he's Terry like off the charts. Leader on steroids. Talks the talk. A plus character.

I am bringing him up because Keim has made it crystal clear that this team is interested if he falls to them. The rumor is the Texans take him before our pick.

Thon is usually pretty good at O line evaluations

Judging by Keim's latest podcast, feels like he might be talking about Mike Green here. They seem Ok i gather with what they found out when they probed about him. Conversely, it seems to not to be the case with Pearce.

Keim has made it clear that they'd likely pounce on Green if he fell but it seems like almost no chance he does to 29.

Absolutely. He was going to be the next player I looked at after you mentioned him, but I got distracted by discovering that amazing JustTheTape youtube channel. What a Godsend for draft nerds. I hope they keep doing this every year.

Yeah I know I'm harsh on OLs. Everyone has their position where they have kind of strict sets of "tells" where that make them enthusiastic or sour on players, and mine are for OLs. I might see a certain kind of loss where I'm like, "damn this guy is under-strength," or "this guy can't run block at that range" and it doesn't necessarily rule the player out for me, but it makes me think they aren't a fit for certain timelines, schemes, positions, etc.

I'll watch Booker today. I've already watched Conerly, Milum, Belton, the three top tackles, Hollin Pierce, Ratledge, and Donovan Jackson. I know we've only been linked to some of those guys, some of it was just curiosity. I want to watch every OL that we've been linked to. If you can think of any more, throw them at me.

Green vs Pearce is crazy. Teams would rather have the two time sexual assaulter in Green because by all counts on the field and in the practice facility/locker room he's an absolute stud and extremely hard worker, coachable, etc. Off the field he might be an absolute piece of garbage though. On the flip side, Pearce may not be a bad kid but apparently his teammates and coaches despise him, he takes plays off, lacks competitive fire etc.

I could absolutely see a scenario where our FO and many others would much rather have Green and just kinda hope he stops being a rapist.

K, thanks on the write up. Looking him up, he sounded great, but not necessarily Quinn's thing, good to know he sounds like he'd fit just fine.
