There will be a jersey and logo rebrand though, which is great news. I can live with the Commie name but the current logo is boring af and the jerseys suck (red isn't bad but white is bad and black is trash).
That doesn't have any tie to the team in any way, and that's the part of the NFL I don't like teams wearing uni, or all black uniform just so they kinda look great... Not in my view.
I'm still not a fan of the commanders name, and logo is even worse.We went from one of the coolest one to one of the worst.
That whole rebrand was done badly from the beginning until the end. They got everything wrong and more. Mainly because the people behind it just sucked top to bottom. I get the fact that the name may be attached to Daniels, winning and so on, but that's still linked to Dan Snyder as well in my mind.
For that single reason I wish they would change the name, just to get rid of danny boy once for all.
It helps when they good, it helps when they look to have a better plan then when they had the name we missed.
Redskins franchise died a long time ago, this is truly something new...change is inevitable and rarely on our terms.
