They “support” troops, not bureaucrats. They will just tell them to get private sector jobs like they should have done to begin with.DCranon21 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 12:03 pmBut the GOP supports the troops right? This is gutless, I don't care what aisle you are on. The sitting Commander in Chief is good with this.
I don’t agree with this policy but I know that’s what they would say.
A quick explanation about my thumbs up to your post. I don’t have a problem with vets services. After all, my father was a Navy lifer and my uncle a disabled Navy vet from Vietnam service. However, given where most of their service locations are, it’s a fair bet that the vets on these areas largely voted for Tя☭mp and hence asked for this. The same thing holds true, perhaps to a lesser degree of Federal workers, a large percentage of which are vets due to vets preference hiring policies. So, I’m filling this one under Leopards getting fat on faces.DCranon21 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 12:03 pmBut the GOP supports the troops right? This is gutless, I don't care what aisle you are on. I'd argue that the GOP has always supported the military industrial complex. Not the troops nor the troops who left service. They support defense contractors.CobraCommander wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 12:55 pmThey “support” troops, not bureaucrats. That sucks. FWIW, while I revel in folks getting what they asked for, I also recognize that a bunch of people that didn’t are getting schtupped also and I genuinely sympathize with them. I’m sorry. I know it’s going to be rough sledding for a lot of folks. Hopefully you all get luckyRenegade7 wrote: Wed Mar 05, 2025 1:28 pmMy Wife can't vote yet but supports the VA at her job.
This goes where I think its going, that's a third of our income gone and we have 3 kids.
I didn't vote for this, at this point the leopards are eating everyone.
